Hola! I am just starting to get into the Spartan Races. There is a Spartan Sprint on September 7th in Milwaukee that I'm interested in doing. It would be my first race. How should I train for a Spartan Sprint? Are there specific training regimens? Thanks for your help! :flowerforyou:

I'd say be able to keep up your cardio consistently for an hour's effort. Also burpees. Mine had dragging a brick, carrying a sandbag, running in snow uphill, monkey bars, climbing ropes, walls, over-under-through, tire flip, wall traverse, barbed-wire mud crawl, spear throw, rope climb, fire jump.
If you can do burpees and maybe pull-ups and pushups and run for an hour you're good.0 -
I'm going to start a challenge on July 5th! Spartan Race has a free ebook Spartan Guide to obstacle racing with an 8 week training plan. I thought it would be awesome to get some MFP's together to start it with! check it out!
