I don't take any performance supplements, but I do take some "paleo/WAP" recommended supplements that seem to help with recovery and general health and well-being:
- Dr. Rons Organ Delight (I can't get myself to eat liver/organ meat that is recommended)
- Mag Max (notice a BIG difference with this in a lot of areas)
- FLCO/BO blend from Green Pastures
- Great Lakes Grass Fed Gelatin (to put into my bone broth or tea)
- kombucha (not exactly a supplement, but good for gut health)
Not sure this is what you're looking for, but I've read on numerous paleo/crossfit blogs that good gut health, correct supplementation, and a clean diet is key.0 -
for sure...they also say gelatin is great for skin and with a lot of weight to lose I know i'll have some.thanks0

BCAA's (Branch Chain Amino Acids) for WOD energy and muscle recovery.
Whey Protein for making my daily macros and muscle repair.
Glutamine for muscle recovery.
Multi-vitamin
Fish Oil for Omegas
ETA: Creatine just makes you bloat. Once you stop taking it all your 'gainz' shrink down LOL. PLus it messed with my GI tract.0 -

I did creatine years ago and it did work. I was able to do much more work per session with it than when I stopped it. I agree on GI thought, it caused enough problems that it just wasn't worth it.0 -

I did creatine for a while as well. I did have more 'umph' but the GI trouble didn't make it worth it. Plus you have to intake so much more water (if taking Creatine correctly) I was bloating out and gaining. I did 'look' bigger, but I shrank back down after all the water left my system once I got off it.0 -

I need to add in Glucosamine for my joints. Box jumps and jump rope work are killing my knees LOL.0
