Massage & Bodywork Burned Calories Count?

Massage & Bodywork and be strenuous work. I know I can really work up a sweat. Do/should these calories burned count in the exercise record? I did three massages consecutively and have used the calorie calculator from the SELF.com website. www.self.com/calculatorsprograms/calculators. This website compared with a few others are all within 20-30 calories of one another. Or is this work, really just work?

    I know this is an old post, but I just got my heart rate monitor.

    I wore it while giving a deep tissue back massage and it said that I burned 241 calories in the hour.

    I'm 5'4', 155lbs, 31 y/o woman and in average health.

    So there's a ballpark figure.

    Gotta say doing a massage with a watch on is sort of difficult. ;p
