    Good health - yes, fitness - I doubt. we have been brought up amidst the theory of 'Thoppai' seen as a symbol of prosperity and being fat indicates a 'nalla manasu.

    With idli, masala dosa and white rice as staple, unless you are a pro or self initiator, fitness is not seen as every tamilan priority. That's my view.

    arvichan: Ya you have a really good point there... Since our elders practice this for century the theory of 'Thoppai'. But its time for our younger generation to re-think about this. As a new generation of Tamilan, we should break the rules. Think out of box.
    Shows others thats we really do care about fitness and works towards its.

    I guess more then 80% of people are not worried or forced by surroundings to be in un-fit life. This is mainly in city life. But still if you see people from village they are really healthy, even with same idlli and masala dosa.:-)

    I feel it is not with what we eat, it is all about how much we eat and how much we burn it.
