So I just put up 100 bales of hay and cleaned up 4 horse stalls...how do I find out what calories I burned?

I guess it depends on how accurate you want to be. I'm sure there's a scientific way to calculate and if you Google it you may even find a related calorie counter. I think I would probably look through the mfp exercise database and adapt one on of the 'exercises' already listed. For example you may equate your hay baling to 'moving furniture' and the stall cleaning to 'cleaning, moderate/vigorous effort'. I'd then check how many calories I would have burned doing them and use that to create my own exercises 'putting up bales' , 'stall cleaning' etc. :happy:0

what I do when I don't know the calories burned is that the time x 2 = burned. Such as scooping manure for 60 minutes get me 120 calories burned. I also use that when I ride my horse because the calories burned is soooo way off in my opinion :-)0
