6/29 Weigh In Day

Good afternoon everyone. Today hasn't started out very well for me. I was attempting to put away groceries in my pantry but I couldn't quite reach the top shelf. So I grabbed a stool but forgot to take into account the door frame of my pantry. When I stood up on the stool I smashed my head against the top of the door frame. :sick: Now I'm sitting here with a bag of frozen corn on my head hoping I don't have a concussion or anything. Geez! What a way to start out your weekend, huh?
But seriously...I'm sure I'm fine. It doesn't hurt that bad...anymore. Lol!
Yesterday was a good day for me. I stayed under my calories and got a little exercise in. Today my plan is to stay under my calories and get 30 minutes of exercise in. Oh yeah, today is also Weigh In Day. Dun dun duuuuuun! :ohwell: This morning I weighed in at 142 for a total loss of 4.2 lbs. I couldn't be happier. I'm so proud of myself and I'm going to continue eating healthier and exercising. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be...once I made the decision to stick with it. I think the thing that was the biggest motivator was starting this group. Knowing that you all were counting on me to report in every day was the best way to hold myself accountable. I highly recommend starting your own group or...better yet...taking over this one. Tomorrow is the last day in our 30 Day Challenge. I won't be continuing the group. Why not take this one over from me? It may be the motivation and accountability you need to jump start your healthy lifestyle.

Happy Saturday!
I'm down another 1.4 pounds this week. In total, I've lost 28.4 pounds. I love the changes I'm noticing in my body! I still have a long way to go, but I'm really happy with the progress I've made. This is the first time that it's ever seemed realistic to me that I could actually win the "Battle of the Bulge".

I bought an elliptical machine today, so hopefully I can start that tomorrow.....I really hope it works out. I put the machine in the living room to watch tv while I work out....I'm so excited :drinker:
Didn't weigh myself as I weighed myself on Thursday and was up a lb. :grumble: but that's what you get when you don't exercise and eat right for a week.
I'm ready to get back on the wagon....hopefully with this machine I'll be able to workout more frequently....

Diana, thanks for starting this challenge....I really enjoyed it....The challenges were good(when I did them-my own fault for not taking advantage....But I really loved the accountability this month....

Well, I'm gonna see ya'll tomorrow and then I guess that's it.....Will miss the group that's for sure. Was thinking about possibly taking it over for you Diana, but I'm not sure yet....It's alot of work. Well here's to ya'll :drinker: see ya tomorrow....the last day :sad:0
