6/30 Last Day of the 30 Day Challenge

Gooooood mooooorniiing everyyyyone! Today's the last day of the 30 Day Challenge for Dummies for the month of June and I'm very happy to report that there WILL be a 30 Day Challenge for July. One of our members has stepped forward and offered to take over the group. Let's give a warm welcome to our new group leader.......DaniKaren!!!!! :drinker: :flowerforyou: :smooched:
Thank you Dani for taking the reigns, even if you are on the "wrong" coast. Right Beth? Yes, Dani lives in California so if you thought my posts came late in the day just wait until Dani posts. :laugh:
I would like to congratulate everybody who stuck with this challenge. It says our group has 156 members but only about 10 of us were active, 11 if I include myself. So I want to take this time to recognize 1efcahill, Mary9921, jwhited71, Spambo16, sarahmccallu, mrsjas2000, DaniKaren, saragreen012, and ginacoats. Sorry if I left you off the list. I could only keep track of those who weighed in each week. I've kept a record of all of your "weigh ins" since June 1st. Who wants to know who are "biggest loser" was? It's actually a tie.
But I don't want to put too much of an emphasis on the one who lost the most because that wasn't the goal of the 30 Day Challenge for Dummies, although I'm sure it feels really good to have lost. The goal for the month of June was just to motivate and help each other get up and do something...anything. Whether it be running, bicycling, swimming, dancing or waitressing. If you're one of the ones who didn't lose this month, don't let that get you down. You were active and you were eating healthier than you were before, so please keep it up. Stay with us because July may be your month.
It was such a pleasure to lead you all this month. I look forward to seeing what Dani has in store for us for July. I hope you all stick around.

Here's to a new month :drinker: I'm excited to get started....I have an elliptical machine now, but I can't do it more than a few minutes so I can't wait to see how long I am able to do it at the end by the month.0 -

Having a crazy day around here, so might check back in later. Oh and since I forgot to weigh in yesterday, I stayed the same this week. Which I'm very happy with considering we went out to eat 3 times this week, I'm very happy I didn't have a gain!

Hey, everybody!
Like Diana said, I live in California, so my posts might be later than you're used to. (Trust me, I know I live on the wrong coast. I miss living in Florida like crazy!) I've made it a goal to start waking up a little bit earlier to even it out a bit.
I'm really excited that the group will keep going! It's helped me so much. I'm very grateful to Diana!
I bought a Wii Fit yesterday to keep things interesting. I bought it used, so the board was only $20 and the game was only $1. (God bless GameStop.) It's fun. I suggest it.
I'm thinking of getting a Fitbit this week. Do any of you have experience with the Fitbit? Is there another product that you would suggest over a Fitbit?
I've been brainstorming weekly challenges, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
