Anyone else here a member? It's a cult into which we are initiated from the start. "Clean your plate, dear." Thanks mom & dad, for teaching me to ignore my own inner wisdom and what my body's telling me. That's a lesson that's truly stuck.

    I remember having to sit at the table, with my two cousins, till bedtime, because we didn't "clean our plates". It would be, like, cold mashed potatoes, peas, etc..... OMG.

    Now it would be considered child abuse! LoL!
