Hi All
I am expanding my Leslie Sansone collection and was curious what is everyone's favorites and why please?
I really like them all, but I am in LOVE with the Ultimate 5 Day and just got the Belly Blasting workout (waiting for it in the mail). I love the Ultimate 5 Day because it is customizable and also never seems to get old for me ( and I have been doing it for about 3 months five days a week LOL). I like the moves, the challenge, the music and the background is not too busy, but I like her past walk crew a little better. I can't wait to get the Belly Blasting because it looks similar.
Thank You

I just ordered the belly blasting walk also, but haven't received it yet. I already have the the "ultimate collection" (it includes 4 workouts in one dvd). Also I have walk and kick, walk and jog, walk your belly flat 3 mile, and the 1 mile power walk. Out of all of these my favorite is the walk and jog. It is a great challenge and has different moves than the rest. I always feel awesome after doing that one.0

I don't not have an absolute favorite, so I'll do it by category.
2 Mile: Power Walk with Friends
3 Mile: Slim and Sleek Pilates Walk
4 Mile: 4 Really Big Miles
Interval: 3 Mile Boot Camp
Set w/ Booster: Eat, Walk, Lose (Love the booster cables)
Set w/o Booster: The AHA walks from exercise TV
Least favorite: 2 Mile Nutrisystem walk
HTH0 -
Lots of favorites:
Leslie with a group:
Just Walk 4 Power Miles - I like the option for higher impact..... more variety. Pre-mixes are a nice addition. New studio is bright & cheerful.
3 Mile Weight Loss Walk - I like that Mary Kay leads mile 2 (whew!) - I like the music. I like to use handweights. Studio is nice.
The Big Burn Intervals - only 2 miles, but lots of boosts (sure Walk Slims have boosts too.... but the music is soooo repetitive). This one is quick & sweaty.... includes the old gang. I thought I would hate this one .... but I use it a lot..... music only option here.
Walk Strong (not express) - This is Walk Away the Pounds ..... a true circuit workout. Walk for awhile, then grab heavier dumbbells for weight training. Nicely planned ..... upper body/lower body combos ..... keeps your heart rate up the whole time.
Leslie solo:
Bootcamp Walk - this has great variety. You walk, you jog, you do strength training. The cool down is chaptered separately so you can skip to it at anytime.
Slim and Sleek Pilates Walk - lots of variety of moves ..... music only option (nice!)
2 New ones coming soon .....can't wait to try
Walk it Off in 30 Days (Aug 6)
5 Mega Miles ... September0 -
Thanks all! Looking forward to expanding my collection and I appreciate all of your recommendations. I will be using them and I will be marking my calendar for the newest videos.0

Hello all!
I'm fairly new to Leslie Sansone, but I'm enjoying adding her workouts into my week, especially when it gets so hot here in Florida. The first one I tried was the 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk mentioned above on YouTube. I really liked it and felt like I got a lot out of it. I've tried a few others from the library and YouTube, but the 3 mile one is my favorite so far. Are there any others like it? The parts I liked about it the most were there were some hand weights and no jogging/boosts. I liked how that second mile was a really butt kicker with out jogging/boosts. Any recommendations?0 -

Walking Workouts with weights …………..
1. Leslie's Burn Body Fat & Sculpt Your Arms – this is 3 separate (Leslie solo) workouts that use weights. I’m not positive that there is no boosted walking. Video clips here:

2. Walk Away the Pounds had a series that used weights …. the workouts are called Get Up & Get Started (1 mile), High Calorie Burn (2 miles), and Super Fat Burning miles (3 miles)….. the cover looks like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Leslie-Sansone-Walk-Away-Pounds/dp/B0007Z0OFY/ref=sr_1_7?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1373907931&sr=1-7&keywords=walk+away+the+pounds
Video clips of 2 of the above workouts are here ….. workouts 1, 2, & 5 use weights: http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/walk-away-the-pounds-5-day-fit-walk-5580
These are not to be confused with Walk Away the Pounds for Abs ….. workouts in that series have the same titles …. but use a belt with resistance cords attached …not weights.
3. Power Walk with Friends ….tough to find. This is 2 miles with a group. The nice thing about this DVD is that there is a music only option. Cover looks like:
http://www.amazon.com/movies-tv/dp/B007YT91YG
4. Walk Away the Pounds Walk Strong (not express). This is a circuit workout …. You walk awhile, then stop and use (heavier) weights, then walk awhile, then stop and use weights (several circuits). I really like this one because it is so different. Video clip:
http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/walk-away-the-pounds-express-walk-strong-7122
These are several non-Leslies "walks" that use weights .....you might check your library.
Prevention 2 Week Turnaround Cardio. This is Chris Freytag ...video clip:

Lets Get Moving 2 ....Debra Mazda ... video clip: http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/shapelygirl-lets-get-moving-2-5688
Walk, Sculpt & Tone .... Debbie Rocker .... video clip: http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/debbie-rockers-walk-sculpt-and-tone-7796
Power Walk for Weight Loss ... Kathy Smith ... video clip: http://www.collagevideo.com/item.aspx?item=7717&reviewstart=11
This is kind of goofy ... I like her Rejuvination Walk better (also uses weights)..... really tough to find0 -
Thanks, TeaBea, for the suggestions. I'll look those up.0

I love the five mile walk!0

I am getting ready to order some Leslie Sansone DVDs, so this thread was very helpful!
I did the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk on YouTube last night, and I really enjoyed that one.0 -
I own over 50 WATP videos so it's hard to choose one, but these are my favorite go to walks:
3 Mile Weight Loss Walk - I LOVE Mary Kay's Mile. What a calorie burner! I also like the music and the light strength training.
1 Mile Gentle Mile - The perfect pace for me to get in a non-sweaty workout in the middle of the afternoon or later at night.
4 Fast Miles: When I hit a plateau, need to shed a couple of lbs or need to firm up a bit, I just throw this dvd in every day for at least a week and it helps gets the job done. There are things I don't care for (the set and the music mostly), but I love how fast the miles go and the 5 boosted walks. I believe this video gives me the highest calorie burn out of all of the other 4 mile videos I have done.
Slim and Sleek Pilates Walk (3 miles - Leslie solo): I love the new moves in the walk. Goes by really fast.
3 Fast Miles: The was also goes by quickly, I love the different music and all of the veteran walkers are in this one.
4 Miles Super Walk: Walking in strength training in one video! Mile 1 is a classic walk, mile 2 is ST, mile 3 is another walk and mile 4 is another ST mile. I do wish the walks were back to back and the ST miles were back to back to keep my heart rate up, but I end up mixing the miles up myself so I can do that.
I need to get my hands on the Bootcamp Walk and Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan.0
