Raw Recipes

What are some of your favorite raw food recipes? I am trying to get my shopping list together. I am open to things I can freeze and thaw too, like energy bars for instance. I am a busy working mom so the less time consuming the better! Thanks

Hi! I suggest looking at what raw foods you like, and finding recipes based on those.
This site is pretty superior in regards to recipe searches: http://www.rawfoodrecipes.com/

I love smoothies. I know not very freezer friendly but really quick to make.

    Energy bars are really easy.

Brownie Balls: (Whitney from Grounded Nutrition recipe)
    Ingredients:
    • 1/2 cup raw walnuts or seed mix or
    dried mulberries
    • 3/4 cup pitted medjool dates, packed
    • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder,
    cacao or carob
    • 2 tablespoons raw almond butter
Directions: In a food processor, pulse
the nuts/seeds until they are broken
down into a powder. Add the rest of
the ingredients and process until a
dough ball forms. Roll into balls and
store in cool place until ready to eat.

With the base of dates and nuts you can add whatever you like and it will all hold together. Try other dried fruits and seeds. Whatever you like. nummy.
