So first measure isn't until 21st July but we can get started with the motivational exercise diaries right :-)
Mon - JM L1 30DS & L1 KBT - DONE 412kcal burn

I was on a two week business trip followed by a week of vacation. I was sure I'd gained a couple of pounds because I ate out every day which turned into crazy amounts of calories. I was lucky enough to have an exercise room in the hotel and worked out almost every day but I still didn't manage to burn off my calories. Nevertheless I found the morning after I got back that I was exactly the same weight as when I left.
I have made zero progress on inches in the last two months, and that's what I most want to work on this six months. I need to get back into strength training for that. I just found out my cousin nearby has a bench and weights stuffed into a corner of her garage so I might try to talk her into working out with me a couple of times a week. PBsMommy, is there a reason you switched from NROL4W to Strong Lifts? I thought she might be more open to lifting with me if I showed her a program designed for women, but I'd rather do the more simple Strong Lifts or Starting Strength programs.0 -

Katie - Time flies by! It seems to more so lately because my daughter has grew past infancy and into toddler. I am so gad to see her growing into a healthy, beautiful, little girl, but really miss the days when she was just a babe. I believe the next 6 months will fly by just as fast, if not faster!
Solanum - I believe both programs are good solid programs, it's more of a to each their own type deal. There are a couple of reasons I switched. One, my hubby vowed to workout with me.... I am on my second week and he has yet to join me.. Bummer, but it's not like he NEEDS to workout anyways, I guess. Second, NROL4W was just getting too over complicated to me. It may be because I just started, I don't know. StongLifts is just 5 different compound lifts alternated between two different workouts for 12 weeks. Squats, Bench Press and Rows for one workout and squats, over head press, and dead lifts for the other. I did have one woman from my NR group tell me that while her StrongLifts lifts increased her other lifts decreased or stalled. When I think about this it doesn't make sense to me, but I guess I am still a noob at it. So, I believe, every four weeks of StrongLifts, I will make up my own week of isolated lifts just to make sure those do not stall or decrease. With NR I felt like I was all over the place. With StrongLifts, I get in there and get it done and don't feel like a chicken with their head cut off.0 -

Mon - Walking with Leslie Sansone 1 mile & Black Weight Loss Success (BWLS) July Challenge Routine 1 275cals Burned
Tue - Same but BWLS July Challenge Routine 2 275cals Burned
Wed - Rest
Thur - Walking w Leslie 1 mile & BWLS Routine 1
Fri - Walking w Leslie 1 mile & BWLS Routine 2
Sat - Walking w Leslie 1 mile & BWLS Routine 3
Sun - Rest
I may change it up a bit cause Im starting to grow tired of Walking with Leslie however I need a warm up suitable for this stage in my recovery. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. This is the most I've worked out since my accident and surely hope I do not suffer any set backs.

So we are all back and raring to go it would seem - this makes me happy!!
Xmas will be here before we know it girls so lets focus and be good with the nutrition (but always have some treat meals every so often to keep you sane, they won't hurt) and exercise!!
