so what are you plans for July? any new goals set?

Me personally, I have taken up bike riding, it's really helped me a lot and it's really kicked started my metabolism. I'm also seeing a massive different in body shape.

    Thats great Nay! For me its the Jogging again, really enjoying it at the moment and i'm noticing so much improvements in my fitness and weight loss since starting.

    This month I want to finish the Couch 25K and jog 40miles. Also working on building pace to but don't have a set target yet.

    How about everyone else? What are your goals?

    ugh! Its so hot! I wish there was a pool I could swim in and then I'd do laps! but Alas my gym has no pool :( So run run run it is with a bit of bike riding too!

    I'm alternating between running and bike riding. Also hoping to get into the pool some.

    I will finish C25K next week! I still find it hard to believe I can run almost 3 miles at this point. I've never been a runner at all!

    My brother is a runner (ran his 6th marathon this year.) When I visit him in Washington, DC later this month, he has plans to run a 5k course with me through the monuments in DC. I guess that will be my goal for the month.

    I'm so close to my goal weight that I'm really not losing at all, but will be happy with maintaining my current weight.

    I'm also running, hoping to be able to finish a couple 6 mile runs this month. Adding to my strength training of only pushups, I want to get a kettle bell and start using that. Just need to find one at a reasonable price. I also bike ride a bit, mostly just to help my older son keep active, younger one wouldn't be keeping up with us quite yet so he rides on my bike.

    Hello Nay, I joined your group, I needed some new motivation!
    Having recently bought a house, I can now use my exercise equipment that had been previously stored in my garage. My goal is to set up a Curves like circuit in my basement AND use it!!!!

    I will be on vacation for a week in July and may not have MFP message board access, but otherwise I can check in!!!

    My goal is pretty simple - return to my "pre-vacation" fitness level by the end of the month. I spent two wonderful weeks on an educational tour of Europe with my darling daughter and even though we walked a lot including steep stairs - I feel like my fitness level did a back slide. I have been back a week and have religiously attended my workout sessions with my trainer 5 of the last 8 days..... Working on jogging a complete lap by the end of month with out getting 'winded'..... :)

    So far it has been so hot in our area.. so now I am taking to the treadmill. My goal was to walk my entire neighborhood which is 2 miles.. now I guess it will have to be 2 miles on the treadmill. My next goal is to run it.

    Oh I forgot to mention, on a positive note. I convinced my husband to give up sugar with me. Today is day 4 :) Yesterday I think I was having major withdrawals.. but I am much better today.

    I actually made my goal this month!!! and its not even over yet! This is the first time I actually made the goal weight I set for myself in a month. whoo hoo!
