Hi everyone,

This is a weight loss site and our group hasn't focused much on weight loss.

What are some things you do that work for you?

What isn't working for you?

What are your greatest obstacles to weight loss?

Have you any super recipes to share?

    I just found out one thing that works for me is staying within my 1200 calorie/day range even when I exercise. Eating Weight Watcher breakfasts and suppers, and eating salads for lunch really help me to do this. I did this the first week. This second week that I just finished, I ate some of the calories that I burned off from exercise. I lost .8 lbs this week and 3 lbs the first week, so you can see eating the calories that I burn off from exercise does not work for me :)

    My greatest obstacles to weight loss are not eating when I am not hungry, and exercising every day. This coming week is going to be very challenging to get to the gym every day like I need to. Since I did not lose much weight this past week I am going to really put forth the effort to get there and stay on track with my exercising :)

    I do not have any recipes to share. Really what works best for me is buying the Weight Watchers meals.

    The more i focus on trying to lose weight the less i lose.i live each moment like a normal eater i focus on life instead of food i plan each day what i plan to eat i try to make exercise fun i do things i enjoy when i exercise dance walk go to the park and walk the trail golf ride my bike i make it fun allmy life i obsessed with food i now obsess with life i no longer walk around thinking food i think life read journal pray sing work watch TV i am focused on life i do not hate exercise anymore because again i make exercise fun. I do plan my foods each day try to stay within my fat sugar protein sodium within my food plan also the calories i eat something good if i want it i used to let food control me i now am nit afraid of it i dont have to pack it all in today i can ket some for tomorrow it is fun making wise food choices and if i make a food mistake i dont beat myself up i also ask GOD to help me obsess with him and life and not food i had an eafing disorder and obsessed with diet purging binging my weight fluctuated from the 130 range to 275 range i no longer go up abd down i have not gauned mire than 10 lbs in ten years i now woukd like to lose no mire than 15 lbs and am healthier regarding food and exercise than i ever have been i asked God to be a normal eater once i asked he did i am blessed to have a friend at work recommend this site thank you lynne for all you do it is also good to have people who urge us on with our progress :flowerforyou:
