Hello!
On Tuesday I will make a chart of the results you all post this week, highlighting both the weekly winner (woo!) and the current cumulative winner (woo woo! weight loss is long term, y'all) I will post the charts in this forum.
Remember to post on Monday so that I have your data to compete for the coveted weekly winner award.

Third: I always like to reflect on process.
I am enjoying the "additional self-care" component. It's raised my awareness about what really constitutes self-care for me. I was chatting with my therapist about this challenge (Therapy = self-care!) and we've concluded that working on my dissertation is definitely a form of self-care. It's like eating my veggies. Sometimes I don't want to do it, but I am always glad I did. So, this challenge has helped me shift my perspective around the big D. Thanks!
I am also shocked at my weight loss. While I only worked out 4 days, it was some pretty intense exercise for me. (Running at roughly a 6 mph pace with a few mini walks in the middle of it all.)
Lately, many good things have been coming together for me and this challenge is included. Thanks again!0 -

Planned last details for trip to North Dakota, poured over the challenge charts & ordered three new dresses, ordered three more dresses, went to buy beans at my favorite coffee shop, lunch date, got on plane to see my former cohort, spent the day with my favorite colleagues (x2)
My surprise for the week: I had lost 2.5 pounds between Monday and Friday morning last week! And although my cohort and I drank bottle and bottles and bottles of wine (and while the food was healthy, there was an over abundance of it and I splurged on bread like no tomorrow). I a, pleased to still have a loss. I was ready to gain the weight that everyone else lost!0 -

Sunday- Spent the day at my daughter's new house painting and putting shelving liner in cupboards:) A few things to do:) She will move in next summer after the wedding but, we are all looking forward to her fiance moving in soon!0 -

Self care: retail therapy, lunch out, following prep for day procedure correctly, eating correctly after procedure, taking a meal break during a 12 hour shift instead of missing it lol, keeping up with some exercise - treadmill - as it has been raining nearly non stop for past 4 days which is unusual, but filling up the water tanks - yah!

I had a couple typeos too! The "r" is a 4 and my weight is not longer 190 (I did loose .4 though!)0 -

Great job Dreamermoth! My official weigh in days are only on Tuesday..have had that date since I started my journey. I guess I will have to weigh myself on Monday or just do the rest of the chart and not bother with the weight part of it.0

Omigosh, I'm with Wraiythe. Horrible weekend. But here goes:
8 cups of water - 5 (power went out and we were conserving water)

Weight gain - remarkably only 0.8 lbs. (to 147.4) I'll take that off again no prob.
