Just curious, what got you into poetry? Was it another poem, a movie, a book, an art piece?

    learning to write in 2nd grade. i just kind of started and never stopped...

    I love writing, but could not keep my mind on one story long enough to finish. I found poetry as a nice, simple, short way to tell a long story. I also loved writing musical lyrics.
