    My MIL is in hospice with pancreatic cancer.

    Also, last night our son was at a neighborhood park coming home from fishing with a friend when another kid (15) jumped him, held a knife to his face and stole his bike. The kid is now in jail over the weekend and will see the juvenile judge on Monday. Thankfully our son was not hurt. We have known this kid from the area. He is a trouble maker.

    I know that God is sovereign and working things out for his glory. Thank you for the prayers.

    Update:
    My MIL, 82, is still in hospice. She has had a lot of visitors and family support. She is in a lovely facility where they take good care of her. They have only 8 beds so they get to know each of the patients and staff well. They even have 2 dogs there. I try to get over there every day. It is only about 10 minutes from our house which is nice. She is saved so she knows that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

    The kid who stole our sons bike is in his parents custody. He is not allowed on our block or the location where the incident happened. He has another trial coming up in Sept. It was labeled as aggravated robbery, a felony. We never did get the bike back. We did file the restitution paperwork with the court. We bought our son a new bike after the incident happened.

    We especially lift Flowergirl's MIL and son that their recovery continues so that we may give you all the glory.

    You know exactly what the needs are of these precious women and we ask that you draw them close in your protective arms and guide them to do what pleases you.

    We praise your name for the healing in our lives, especially our sister, Flowergirl145, whose MIL has needs prayer for recovery; her son needs healing from the assault and the perpetrator as well.
    We also lift up Paula1887, glad that she has rejoined us. Continue to bless her.
    We know that you know Suzysweetpea's needs and can fulfill the desires of her heart.
    Bless them all and the rest of us, as our needs are no secret to you. Empower us to trust to to do our mission, even as Jesus sent the disciples on a mission.
