Well, just like that the summer flies by (unless you're in Australia where summer is fast approaching.

Let's recruit some more members and help folks get on the right path to a healthy weight-loss lifestyle before the overeating months of November and December are upon us!

    I can't believe August is already here!

    In August, I will be running my first 5k (Aug 10) and finishing 5 to 10k (started week 3 of 6 yesterday).

    By the end of August, I want to run the 6.8 mi loop at the National Park where I usually run.

    Will start looking for a 10k to run sometime this fall.

    I'm still riding my bicycle a few days a week in between run days. I still have at least 5 lbs to lose, but I feel pretty good about my health and fitness level.

    Crazy that it's already August! Well, I will be working toward a goal of being able to run 7 miles. Hopefully doing at least one long run of 6 miles or more per week. Going to be running an 8K in two weeks, out at the beach which should be fun. Running miles goal of the month will be 57.

    My goal is to run 15 miles by the end of the month! I just reached a goal today - doing a 2.3mi route in 30 minutes or less (I came in at 29:35 today). I hope to increase the number of runs I do per week!

    Ok I just added myself to the spreadsheet. Meg thanks for the invite. My goal for the month is to walk 30miles and lose 6lbs.

    My goal is to run 130 miles this month and to lose 8 lbs... would like to be below the 130s for my wedding in september

    Goals for August
    I am working at logging faithfully again. Would like to lose 3 pounds this month and get back to exercising, at least 30 minutes five days a week.

    Lots of running goals. Here's mine upped my target to 45miles. Lose 5lbs.

    I have reached one of my August goals! I ran 7.05 miles on Sunday afternoon! Thought I was going to keel over and die, but I did it.

    Fell off and now back on the wagon again... dunno why I keep doing it, but some thing sets me off and I go order a pizza and deary me!! but I'm back again now!
