Hello!
On Tuesday night I will make a chart of the results you all post this week and post with your results from last week ( highlighting both the weekly winner (woo!) and the current cumulative winner (woo woo! weight loss is long term, y'all) I will post the charts in this forum and last week's forum. I appreciate your patience while I have company and go trekking all over this nation!

Now, some reflection:
My self-care this week was rather limited and only included dissertation work and a lil' therapy. Overall, this was a hard week. I was disenchanted with running and the overall weight loss process. Sometimes logging food is a time-consuming drag. I also misplaced my favorite 3-cup water bottle and think I did not drink enough water as a result. Most of my socializing this week also involved eating out and very little exercise. (I usually try to build social activities around something like a bike ride.) This all culminated with a disappointing "long run" yesterday during which I tweaked my knee and cut a 7-mile run to a pissed-off 5-mile run/walk. I could blame all of this on period-associated moodiness, but I own it: I was being lazy. This will be a better week, particularly because I will strive to be more intentional about logging my food and activities.0 -

My self-care this week included raid nights, skype calls, building my resume for a new fantastic job I'm applying for, and a bubble bath. I'm proud of myself for having done so much better with sugary snacks vs. fruit/veggies.

Part of this week my dad was still in the hospital. I treated myself to the salad bar at the hospital cafe! 2X's! I actually stayed up and watched a whole movie with my husband one night. I bought myself a new pair of brown sandals and they aren't wide width:) I tried a new flavor of tea and love it! (love Tevana!) Talked to an old friend for a while. Went out to dinner with my husband and didn't go over cal's:) Not a great week for exercise as I was with my dad 10-12 hours a day:( He is now at a transitional care center and actually doing really well:)0 -

Now if the scale would just start moving again! I know how to do this and it is almost a year! I feel stuck! I know it will happen I am just getting frustrated being stuck here! Thanks for the motivation everyone! I do feel great and healthy! I am pushing to get in all the fruits and veggies! It seems easy right now with the farmer's market and all the yummy fresh fruits and veggies that summer brings! I will keep at it! Spent 45 minutes at the gym yesterday on the treadmill and a little weights!0
