Hi! It can be easy to fall in the routine of going through the motions of daily life, but we are living out God's plan for our life and should honor him every step of the way. So whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly for the glory of God. He is the one that made you and delights in every aspect of your life. Have a blessed weekend! (Godvine)
I try to remember to give God thanks for everything, in every situation. I won't lie and say I always make it but I do try. I give God the glory & praise for every new day, for the ability to work and pay my own way ~ even though there are times I wonder if I"ll make it from one month to the next (like many folks nowadays) but I still have a roof over my head, plenty to day, clean water to drink, a nice comfortable bed to sleep in, my beautiful family & friends, best Pastor & church family in the world, health and so much more.
In that line of thought ~~
I have to brag and not just on me but on the goodness of God in helping me to do what I’ve set out to do toward getting healthier. ~ DRUM ROLL PLEASE ~ I am down 2.7# this week which puts me within 1.9# of my main goal of 145# and after I maintain for a while I may then add another 3# to be closer to my first WW Lifetime goal weight of 140#. I’m sure I do NOT want to get to the original weight of 138# though and will check with my doctor to get his opinion as to stopping or losing another 2 - 3#. This has been a long hard road but with the help of God and encouragement of my kids, my Sister Vickie & Bubba Gary, my WW Sisters, my friends here on MFP & many others I’m making it! THANK YOU GOD! ♥
With God ALL things are possible even when I had lots of self doubt that I could do it again. I clung to two scriptures a lot for this:
Mark 9:22-24
New International Version (NIV)
22 .......... But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
and
Philippians 4:13
King James Version (KJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
