Day 4

Ok so...... I'm stronger. It's obvious. But I still do girlie push ups, I can't finish the damn butt kicks or the damn jump ropes!!! Idk if its due to me and hubby running prior to the video or what but the first 8-9 min just kill me!

Hubby and I set a goal: 5 days, 1 day break, 5 more days. At the end of the 2nd 5, we will assess how we think we are doing with level 1. Then if we aren't comfortable enough we plan to stick with it another 5 and reassess again. Nice to have a buddy!!

Excellent stuff! I still do girlie push ups and struggle with the weights/lats rights at the end! Cardio I find relatively easy, however still tiring. Today felt harder than ever, I think I'm tired out! Not sure when I will have my rest day, maybe tomorrow as I have plans! I find I'm too tired to be any good at anything for the rest of the day. Luckily I'm a school teacher and its the holidays or I don't know if I could manage this after a day at work. Down 2" on my waist however, so must persevere! Also my weight is dropping and adjusting to the exercise now.

Hello fellow teacher!!! How DO you plan to do this daily when school starts up again? What grade do you teach?

2 inches is great!!!! And yes, day 4 was really difficult!!!! I'm going 6 days instead of 5 this first time because we are taking my daughter to ride roller coasters Saturday!! My 'rest day' will consist of standing in the heat and walking ALOT. ????

Day four was pretty rough and those arm raises with weights at the end are murder on my arms with the 3lb weights. I have to take frequent rests on that last part and on the push ups...I guess my upper arm strength is pretty pathetic indeed.

I'm also going to be in the heat and lots of walking this Sat, my rest day. We are taking the family to six flags, my little ones have never been and earned their tickets by reading at home. I promised them that they got those tickets, that we would be going no matter what! So this weekend we head out and I'm really excited. I love coasters.

Well today will be day 6 for me and as this isn't my first time shredding I can safely say that yes it does get easier. I made it to day 9 with 1lb weights and by that 9th day I was going great (push ups were still an issue). So keep it up :)

Last night was day 4 for me. (I have to do this in the evening as I have to be to work by 730am, and I usually go to the gym 3 days a week at 5:15am) I wasn't really into it, but I can now do the first circuit all the way through, even though the jump ropes are going to be the death of me. Right now the hardest part for me is the side lunges . I never feel like I am doing them right. All in all I do feel stronger, and my pants are definatley fitting looser. They are loose in the legs AFTER washing them! :)

    Keep it up everyone!

It's Day 4 of the exercise for me. I thought I was going to die as usual on the first set of cardio exercises. I had to stop to get my breath back. It was so bad I couldn't even drink water. However I got back on it from there and it was easier. Just a little. I really didn't have to stop again, just a little pause to gulp down water.
The arm raises are still killing me. I can't do them all with the weights I have. I've worked out that I can do one set now and ten on the second lot. So I'm going to see if I can do more on Friday. I have another rest day tomorrow as I'm fasting.
The lunges are killing me too. I've never been very good at them so I think I'm going to do what I thought of with the arm raises and count them. See how many I'm able to do and then push it.

I get off balance with the lunges. Sound alike you are progressing well, though!!! Great job today!

Well at least you haven't given up ;)

On the arm raises, which are murder to my poor arms as well, I take one weight and hold it with both hands. Works out nicely. I still have to pause for 5 secs every now and then but you will be surprised how your body will just click into "I got this" mode around the 6-7th day. It was the 7th day for me. Good luck and we are all here for you!

ProgressNotPe and Pennystextile- I'm a teacher, too. I hope to keep up with JM workouts early in the am if I can. One reason I like these workouts is they are short enough to squeeze in before work or in the evening. Unfortunately, our first day of school this year is a Monday- so it will be a very long week.

Oh yuck!!! Ours is on a Tuesday, not much better! I usually run first thing in the mornings and do JM before dinner praying we can all keep it up!!

Yeah, that's happening to me. I'm thinking about so many things. Don't go over the toe, keep your legs straight, arms in the right position, that I forget to balance.
