iPod I never use as I have no pockets

I go to work after the gym, so my bag is overflowing...
Toiletries bag - toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, deodorant, hairbrush, a few tampons
Clothes for the day - at the moment it's winter, so tights, skirt or dress, top, something warm to go under the top, something warm to go over the top. Boots left in the car to change into in the street.
    Sweat towel
    Light-weight bath towel
    Drink bottle
Little blue book and pen (how I track the workouts)
Usually spare pair of socks just hanging around!

After the workout - all the towels above, all the workout gear I got sweated up and the toiletries bag. Drink bottle. Runners after I change into my bots in the street (unless its raining, in which case the boots go into the gym with me and I struggle with all the crap I carry!!)

I don't have a gym bag usually. I take a towel for sweat, my HRM so I can track my time, a water bottle, a pen, and a notebook.

Hmm, I don't carry a gym bag (yet). I generally just carry in my phone with earbuds and a bottle of water. My gym provides towels. I log everything on my phone and as such can refer to it as to where I've been, where I'm at, and where I'm going next.

I have two gym bags now: one for morning, one for afternoon.

    Morning:
    work clothes
    bath towel
toiletries bag (shampoo, deodorant, etc. etc.)
    headphones
    HRM
    extra socks
    bathing suit

    Afternoon:
    extra socks & undies
    baby wipes
    workout clothes
    headphones
small towel for Zumba sweat (which I always forget, LOL)

My Versa-Grips and my locker lock live in my purse now with my membership card.
Also have a second swim suit that lives in my car.

The Times Atlas of World History
This reminded me of my ex boyfriend's face when I took a huge encyclopedia from our bookshelf to do elevated deadlifts. "Are you going to read it?" "Uh, not really, no." He facepalmed.

lol the Times Atlas of World History is perfect for that kind of thing, in that it's large, hard backed and slab-like. :drinker:

I workout on my lunch so I have to go back to work after, so I bring....

Makeup bag filled with deodorant, hair brush, concealer, eyliner, lipgloss, misc
    Extra clothes
    ipod with arm band

My gym supplies towels, lotions and blow dryers so I don't have to bring my own.
  • Oh wow, I work out and go directly to work, so I'm loaded like a pack mule in the morning. This guy that came in behind me today said "You could stay at the gym all day with all that stuff!". I wish.

I wear my nerdy workout clothes in the metro, so yeah, ahem, don't have to pack those.

    - Spibelt to hold my giant phone during my workout (on which I track my workouts using LiftBig and listen to music)
    - Headphones
    - Fractional plates required for that day's workout
    - Water bottle
    - Bath towel and gym towel to lay down on the bench
    - Shower/toiletries/makeup bag
    - Shower flip-flops
    - Lock
    - Work outfit/change of undergarments
    - Cons if I am not also wearing them to work that day
    - Thermos bag for post-workout shake/breakfast and packed lunch

I think that's all. Plus my backpack containing work stuff.

    Good thing I am lifting.

ETA: That ^^^, the "overhead", is what I hate most about going to the gym. It was much simpler when I worked out at home.

    I LOVE list threads!

My son's old futsal shoes (they are very minimalist and give you an excellent base)
    Sports bra
    Shorts
    A comfy t-shirt
    Deodorant
Hairbands (one I intended to bring, the other that was left from the last time)
    Makeup bag
    Headphones

I use the SL app, so don't bring the notebook and pens.
