Hi. Just wondering how everyone is doing and thought I'd start the August Chat. Has anyone heard from babeinthemoon? I hope she is doing okay.

Not to bad thanks. I am now in week 5 so my first rotation. I did not lose any weight in week 2 or 4 so I am instrested to see what happens this week.0

I find weight loss to be a bit of a rollercoaster too. Some weeks I loose nothing, the next I'll even be up a pound or two which frustrates me to almost throwing in the towel, but then the next I'll be down 5lbs. So, thru all the frustrations its still positive movement if you look at in on a monthly basis. My body doesn't respond very well weekly. In order for me to 'keep my chin up', I have to look at weight loss monthly.
How is your rotation week going acahane?0 -
I'm here. Things are going good since the accident. I'm still not cleared for exercise, so that is super frustrating. In addition, my brain is still scrambled, and I get a headache anytime I have to focus on something for a period of time. Grrr.
We were blessed with a month of meals that were brought to our home right after the accident. It was so helpful to not have to think about dinner... but now I'm not in the CTL habit any more. I really need to sit down and make up a meal chart for a week again so I can get back on board. I did my best with CTL when I was prepared, and everything was easy to grab in the fridge/pantry.
Thanks for thinking of me. I hope to be back soon. But I'm unsure. I'm looking for an assistant moderator(s) to help. See the locked sticky for info if you are interested.0 -
So glad to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the headaches. Those are terrible. You have strong will and a wonderful heart. Make sure to take care of yourself and hang in there. I agree, I do my best when I am well organized and have my meals planned out ahead of time too.
