will set my freesat to record. On the same subject watched half a recorded episode of "The men who made us fat" last night. It was the one on how mcdonalds and co and food manufacturers brought out "supersize" I just thank my lucky stars that I wasnt into fast food or crisps or snacks. Otherwise my highest weight of 23.5 stone would have probably have been 10 stone more! Mountains of garbage food full of addictive high fructose corn syrup.0

I have watched all the "The men who made us fat" episodes, and like you I just thank my lucky stars that I wasn't into fast food or crisps or snacks
I grew up with wartime rationing as a child, and never had a chance to acquire a taste for them as there was no such thing, and 3 ounces [85g] of sweets a week could hardly give me a sweet tooth, or rotten teeth, which with hindsight I know is all good
Mind you, once rationing finished we all "smoked" sweet cigarettes, with growing up, some you win, some you lose0 -
Oooh sounds interesting! Must remember to watch it!!0
