keeping sweat out of my eyes

I have a problem with sweat getting in my eyes when riding at high speeds (over 35ish mph), but it's not a problem at slower speeds. Anyone have any suggestions? Sweatbands are out because of the way they fit with my helmet... was thinking about tring one of those under armor type skull caps.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

My husband uses the Halo II sweat band (it's super thin) during the summer. I wear a bandana under my helmet in the summer.
During the winter we both wear Under Armour winter skull caps.
(My husband never wore anything until he had PRK--like Lasik--surgery and his surgeon insisted on it. At first he was resistant, but he was a huge convert after wearing the Halo band just a couple times.)0 -
Plain old bandana usually does the trick just fine. Plus I look like a pirate when I'm no longer wearing the helmet.0

Don't go so fast.
If slowing down isn't an option I do have a couple of friends that swear by the Sweat GUTR. I've been thinking about getting one of those myself.0 -
I wear a Castelli cycling cap under my helmet and I love it...keeps the sweat off my face and can flip the brim down if riding into the sun. Especially helpful now that sun is getting much lower in sky on my evening rides.0

I have the headsweats skull cap thunk with the tail that wicks away the sweat. the tail drips, but none in my eyes. If it works for me, it should work for anybody. I sweat A LOT.0

+1 on the headsweats cap. it has a terrycloth band in the lower section for extra absorbency. And on crazy hot days you can run it in cool water at rest stops, and it feels great to put back on.0 -
Thanks everyone. I'm going to try a bandana of sorts first (I can cut up an old shirt for free). If that doesn't work, I'll probably get a skull cap of some sort. I think I'd probably get some use out of it in the cooler months as well.0
