Gluten Free and Picky

Hi Everyone!
I am brand new to gluten free and looking for some dinner ideas!
I work two jobs and really need meals I can cook in advance and heat up in the microwave.
I'm not a fan of rice, or veggies.... I will eat broccoli but usually with a sauce of some sort (or cheese). I love perogies (bad for me) and bread (also bad).
Just simple ideas would be great!

skinnytaste.com is easiest- she has a mix of regular and gluten free recipes but has been listing the GF receipes recently.
Otherwise visit Pintrest. You can find lots of pins for gluten free which will lead you gluten free blogs with literally thousands of gf meal ideas. I cook a lot with beans and lentils and make meals that can freeze well for when I am busy.
If you dont like rice, try quinoa-- but learn to cook it properly first. Its a complete protein with 9 amino acids so great at helping you get a rounded diet.0 -
QUICK AND DIRTY IDEAS: try adding beans of all sorts, potatoes--regular and sweet potatoes for starters....I just tasted at Costco a mix of rice and quiona which is quite tasty and breaks up the monotony of rice...apparently it comes in packets and ready to use...my grand daughter highly recommended it and she is 13! while shopping, My 13 yr old grand daughter wanted to go to Subway for lunch...yum and their rolls are awesome...but sadly they do not offer gluten free ones..;-(...sooo, I had their chopped chicken salad...yum...so, an option for home is to have chicken breasts already cooked up...add them to the salad mixes...add a few extra goodies and you have a healthy gluten free meal...you can add canned beans to the salad along with dried fruit, or even fresh apples, orange or grapefruit...the options are endless...0
