Hey all!!! Hope your having a great labor day weekend. Thought id give you some more info on this group. We currently have 104 members and I believe we all see success if we stay committed to our goals and reach out to each other for supports.

Here's my plan for weekly checkin

Every week on Weds I will post a new topic : 15 weeks till Christmas.. etc. Wednesday will be our check-in day though if some of you would rather check in Mon or Fri that's fine with me too, just 1x a week.

For this week just post it here as joining weight & goals and then I'll have the 15 weeks up by Weds

Here's the stats you should post:

1. Current weight (optional)
2. weight lost since last week
3. Other accomplishment or NSV (non scale victory) for the week
4. Goals for next week
5. weight to go by Christmas

So here's mine.

1. 229lbs
2. 5lbs
3. Ate clean for most of the week. Didn't binge this weekend that much
4. Eat clean again and hope to see 4-6 lbs for this week too
5. 199lbs (the under 200 club) ultimate weight goal (184-193lbs)

  • I know I have already checked in for this week but wanted to share my first victory! After a game day on Saturday and the Monday holiday with all the goodies in my face begging me to eat them I resisted and counted every calorie. I had weighed on Saturday morning and readjusted my goals to reflect a true weight for this challenge. I exercised 4 times last week and ate within my calorie range. I am happy to say it paid off!!! I lost 4 pounds! I want to encourage everyone to stay on task. It works! Now join me in a moment of....HAPPY DANCE!

Ok, so today is my first day. I joined this site several years ago and then never did anything on it. Sad to say that my weight is up 15 lbs since I was on it the first time. BUMMER! However, I didn't join a group so hopefully this will help me stick with it this time. :o)
    1) Don't tell my husband . . . 160
    2) Just starting so no results yet . . . but I will next week!
    3) Again, nothing yet
    4) Goal is to start exercising again. Used to be an exercise fanatic but fell off that wagon a few years ago. Will need to start out slow . . . 3 days a week, 20-30 minutes for now
    5) To keep it realistic, I'd be happy with 15 lbs by Christmas.
