Painful knees

Hi guys! Before I started Insanity (Tom is start of recovery week) my knees were already painful from doing Turbofire (random, 3-4x/week) and it has gotten worse with Insanity especially with power squats or anything that will make me bend my knees past 90 degrees. Yesterday, I did Plyometric Cardio circuit and just prior to that I did Nike Training Club's strength training (arms & legs) so I'm sure that added to it.
I know my quads are not that strong yet, still got fats, but I want to make sure that I'm doing the right thing, and not to be putting all the impact on my knees. I'm 5'3 at 143.6 lbs, 28 y/o. Or maybe my legs are really not that strong yet so it gets all the strain and pressure from the plyo, jumping and squats.
Thanks!

My knees have been a little sore too, and today they are worse after cardio plyo circuit! I am just taking it easy on the squats and hoping that my muscles strengthen up a bit. Maybe we should work in leg presses?0

Mine are soar also but I used to 262lbs at 5'4" and I don't have hardly any cartilage left in them, so by docs orders take joint juice everyday.0

I'm 180 lbs 5'1 and 2 weeks away from finishing insanity.
The 2 weeks of insanity, my knees are sored.. had problem go downstairs.
Wha'ts bother me is you already have pain from TF.
Make you sure you knees are unlocked when you land on your jump.
Get a Foam mat to help release the shock. This does makes a lot of different.
I do insanity with bare foot since I can land with my forefoot better.
I think you should take a few days so your knees can recover.
Station bike and foam roller do help with the recover.
Take Ibrobuffen to help release the pain and reduce the internal knee swollen.0 -
Try to always land softly0
