How to change the "look"

Here's where I am at...
I had already lost over 100# before CF. I have re-set my MFP account to be a clean slate since I started my Advocare Cleanse to be followed by my Whole Life Challenge. I need an accurate drawing board.
Today is Day 17 of the 24 day cleanse and I have lost 12 lbs. (I did not update this morning-I will update again at the end of the Advocare Challenge)
I am loving the muscle I can feel (my husband has been given some very nice "feels" along the glute/hams)... Which I am very much liking!
Anyway... I am ok that my jeans are still not getting looser (all over) so that I can go lower... I could in the waist, but you guys already understand that.
Here's my thing... All of the extra skin. Half of me is like...it is what it is...but then it is also a head game. KWIM? I could go down a size all over if I shed the extra skin. It was stumbling block going into this last winter. I was the lowest I have been since BC (before children)... Then I got frustrated b/c of my look and ended up gaining some back, not alot...but too much. I am good with that b/c it got me to CF. (love, love, love)
I have all of this amazing muscle, but it is still masked by flab. I still have fat to lose, I'm fine with that. It will come off. No biggie. Again, my hang up is the flab...the skin.
Has anyone lost a huge amount of fat and been able to tighten up/tone up the skin/flab. I feel like a powerhouse covered in flubber. :frown:
I would love some help here if anyone has any pointers.

I've got nothing to offer up as I am still a ways away from where I want to be (still have around 30lbs to drop until I get to my "goal weight" even though that is completely arbitrary), but I know I'm gonna have skin issues, particularly my stomach. Hoping others will comment with insights, so...
IN for the pointers!0 -
I have lost a lot of weight which has resulted in a lot of loose/hanging skin, especially on my belly. I looked into getting some cosmetic surgery but the recovery sounded pretty brutal so I decided against it. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything that can be done naturally and I have to learn to accept that one of the consequences of being so heavy for so long is that my body will never look the way I want it to.
I try to focus on how I feel health-wise and the parts of my body that I think look good (arms/shoulders/chest) and try to not focus on the part that doesn't (belly.) I still get down about it sometimes but not as often.0 -

Thanks. That is pretty much what I have come up with too.
If anyone has anything they know to work.... Let us all know.0
