Four Week Body Pics

The top of pics was taken before my 2nd day of lifting. The bottom row was taken this past Sunday after four full weeks of Stronglifts. I wish I'd worn the same shorts to make a better before/after, but it is what it is! I think what I've actually noticed the most is my back fat is starting to disappear. I think the flab under my arms is a touch tighter, too. My tummy looks a lot smaller in the 2nd set but I wonder if part of that is the shorts. My measurements haven't changed AT ALL. Kind of disappointing, but everything is feeling a little tighter so I'm not too upset.

Shrinking belly, back flab and waist... Worth all the efforts!0

Thanks, all! :-)0

The measurements are lying--your butt looks noticeably smaller. I noticed in the form vids. Good work!
p.s. Do your clothes fit differently?0 -
It took a few weeks for my measurements to change too and I wasn't losing weight either because of the water retention. Keep going! Now that I'm a little over a month into SLs I've lost only one pound but lost 2 inches overall. You are looking great!0

Nice difference!! Get work. Your waist has changed quite a bit.0

Thank you all! And NO! My clothes aren't fitting differently yet! I swear to god they increase or decrease size with me. :-P0

Look how much smaller your waist looks! Wow! Great job. My measurements haven't changed much either, but I know there's a lot less jiggling going on.0

Thanks, Aidasmom!0

Totally different! Oh my god, think about where you'll be six months from now?!? So exciting!0

I know! It really is exciting! LOL I can't wait for the next four weeks to pass!0

VERY impressive! Way to go! More proof that lifting heavy doesn't make women "bulky", it makes us look good.0

Thanks, LL!0

You definitely look smaller!
About your measurements not changing/clothes still fitting the same, let me try and explain what happened to me and maybe it's the same thing with you. I have the hanging belly pooch from 2 c-sections. After I started lifting, it seemed to get bigger and stick out more. I was noticing it sticking out when I was wearing certain clothes when I hadn't noticed it before. My measurements actually went up. What I finally figured out was the pooch was lifting up higher. Before it had hung lower and a little more flat because there was nothing holding it up. That pooch is slowly disappearing and I'm glad that once I get my body fat low enough it will probably (mostly) be gone,
So hang in there! The changes are worth it!0 -
Thanks ladies! And thanks for your feedback, Kerri!0

I see a huge difference, look at your waist. Also, look at your calves.
Your photos are very motivating to me; I'm getting ready to start Stronglifts, and to think I could have results like yours in a month gets me even more excited to start.0 -
Brilliant photies - look at that waist shrink!!! xx0

You can definitely see the change in your waist/hips, side view of your stomach and your back rolls. Your picture reminds me of my body shape, keep going ! I started lifting 5x5 and progressing with the amt i would lift every week and i felt the same way that...that i noticed no difference. It has been almost 8 weeks now and there is a very noticeable difference0

Thank you all! I appreciate all the compliments! Sometimes it's harder for me to notice what others are seeing. :-)0
