Hi there! I just wrote this about the subject above, if any of you would like to check it out....I usually write about fitness and health but with back-to-school it has been on the mind a little more than usual. And I'm proud of it....

    Very well written. My son just turned three and has life-threatening egg and peanut allergies and several of the things you mention are very familiar. Especially the bird seed. I remember reading all of the packages to see which ones would even be safe to bring home and then decided it wasn't worth it and took the bird feeder down.

    thanks for checking it out! I know, sometimes it's really surprising where you'll find these allergens. One of these days I'll write a public letter to all retailers about how awful so many of the stores are for people with allergies.....it's my biggest pet peeve.

    So you haven't navigated the school system yet, have you?! I hope you are in a location where the schools are in-the-know!
