I have an interest in attending this: http://www.bostonveg.org/foodfest/
Anyone ever been? Is it worth going to?

I went to one in San Diego last year. It was great - lots of vendors & samples, and tons of food & products to purchase. There were also speakers & workshops to listen to/attend. It was also pretty politically oriented towards the GMO issues, etc. It had a very holistic/green/healthy approach so it was fun to go with like-minded people. If you go with carnivores you'll probably get a lot of eye-rolling :)

    Have fun!

This. We go to the Toronto one and it's great. Love the vendors and samples and food and other products. Like the info and ours is held outdoors by the waterfront and free. In T.O. lots of people attend, even non-vegetarians/vegans. It's a huge family event.
