MFP Vuelta Espana 2013 Grand Tour Challenge Results

Results for the Third section of the Grand Tour Challenge (La Vuelta Espana) are as Follows:
first of all the Red Jersey overall competition...
- Rider #309 - TheBigYin 994.20km - just short of the 4 digit club.

- Rider #324 - A tour Debutante, Jakess1971 with 850.69km.
- Rider #329 - Amiller7x7 - 845.40km - another good showing from team#3.
The competition for the Sprinters Jersey was closely faught this time - with 3 new contenders battling it out for honours...
- Rider #316 - CentralCaliCycling with an average of 29.48kph, amazing considering the temperatures he mentioned a couple of the days

- Rider #322 - glencommiskey - just a tad behind overall at 29.04kph average.
- Rider #318 - christophenes with an average of 28.24kph for a second podium appearance this year
And Finally, the Polka Dot Jersey Climbers competition...
- Rider #302 - mdstamand 9,582m of ascent (that's 12.83m of ascent for every Km ridden in the challenge...)

- Rider #329 - AMiller7x7 - 9,061m of ascent (or 10.72m for every Km ridden)
- Rider #301 - harksey - 8,695m of ascent (or 10.40m per Km ridden)

And As always well done to everyone who got out there and did a ride and joined in the fun...

Congrats to all who took part in this, been a fun ride, some pretty amazing stats and wow on the sprinting! Three out of Nine podiums for Team 3, Amiller7x7 we did rather well for a thread bear team 3 eh!0

Thanks to TheBigYin for putting a lot of extra effort after his rides to keep all of this for us. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next challenge.
