Anyone doing the 5ks coming up around Detroit?

I'm thinking about signing up for the "Neon Vibe" one, next month. I know that there are a few more going on around Detroit this summer. Not sure where else in Michigan I could catch one. A 5k seems like a pretty good starting point.

    There is a 5K and 10K being hosted by the Detroit Zoo. You run throughout Huntington Woods and the surrounding areas around the zoo. It's on 9/15/13.

    I'm also interested in doing a 5K but I think I want to take two months or so to train for it. By then it will be winter though, not sure how many winter 5K's there are. ;)

    There actually are quite a few winter 5k's. Just go to runmichigan.com for calendar. I did the one on holly two years ago for ****ens days. It was cold but fun
