I grew up in New York. When I was single, I probably didn't shave quite as often in the winter as the summer, but I still shaved rather regularly. Hairy legs and goose bumps are not comfortable.

I live in Maine and I still shave all year round...it's nasty to have stubbly!

Even with pantyhose, you have to shave your legs. Sorry, it's winter in Wisconsin, most of us rock the Sasquatch look until the temp hits 50.

Ya know, my roommates also said after a year or so, they still have to shave... it's thinner, but they still have to shave. That makes it rather pointless, doesn't it? Not cool.

My boss did it as well, I think it was a year ago at $600 a treatment and she did 3. She is shaving again :noway:

I've heard it's more effective for some people than others. If your hair is blonder, I believe it's more effective. Or less? I can't remember.

My cousin had her pits done and it worked.

Dark hair on pale skin is the ideal candidate, actually... that's me. However, my hair is something of a stubborn animal at the best of times, so that's probably why.

And yeah, my hair IS a bit thinner, and for awhile wasn't growing back in as fast... but I'm definitely shaving just as frequently now as I was before laser.
