Cannondale Caad 10 and Ultegra Di2???

I am looking to retire my 6 year old Giant TCR (running Ultegra). Due to the fact I travel for work a bit and the bike spends a bit of time on racks or in the back of my wagon I am thinking that a good quality aluminium frame may be more sensible than a low to mid range carbon frame. Does anybody ride a Caad 10? If so, let me know what you think. The 2014 models don't land in Australia until November so I can't actually test ride one at this stage.
Also, there is a fair jump in the price of electronic compared to mechanical Ultegra. For a weekend warrior doing 150 to 200km per week, is it worth the extra dollars? Interested to hear from anyone on both topics.

I have two bikes with Ultegra Di2, and you can probably guess from that that I love it. Properly adjusted mechanical Ultegra works really well too. But it needs adjustment as the cables stretch, and cable replacement, and the shifting gets lousy if your chain is dirty, but all that keeps going fine with Di2.
I hear the CAAD 10 is good. It's a racing bike though with aggressive road racing geometry. Though your TCR was too. You might find a Synapse (Cannondale) or Defy (Giant) more comfortable if it's longer or more recreational rides. I had a Synapse (recently replaced with a custom frame with similar geometry) and I also have a TCR for racing.0 -
I've been racing a CAAD 10 for three seasons now, which is approximately 2 more than I was expecting to keep it for. The bike is pretty amazing, with good wheels on it there is just no reason to upgrade, plus when I lay it down in a crit I'm not worried about replacement cost of the frame.
As the lone holdout in my riding group on the Di2 front I can assure you that it rides amazingly well, but I still prefer the solid mechanical feedback of Red (although I'd be on EPS in a heartbeat if it didn't cost so much)0 -

Thanks for the feedback. I don't know whether we will be able to get a Caad 10 in Australia with Ultegra Di2. Might be mechanical only. I am in no real hurry, so I will wait until the 2014 models land and worry about it then. The more people I speak to, the better the Ultegra Di2 is sounding.0

I think you'll find Campag do EPS in Super Record, Record and Athena flavours... http://eps.campagnolo.com/en/collection0
