Been a member on MFP for a few months actively when my wife and I decided to finally buckle down and pay attention to what we were eating. That alone has done wonders but I was getting bored of just jogging so I downloaded the 5k training program because it was on sale one day. Love the setup, story and the acting isn't too bad either. Can't wait to finish the program because I have the full ZR app installed and have been chomping at the bit to try it.

Question I have is for all of those that have finished the 5k training app, was the rest of the story line worth the time? Is it anything I wouldn't learn from the full app? I've been consistently running over 4 miles during each of my training missions so far since week 3 so I get kind of bored during the missions (I'm on week 5 now)

Any advice, insight, etc would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Welcome. Runner 5!!! :)
I'm only halfway through the 5k app, but I've finished season one of the main app, and I really don't think you will miss anything by just jumping into the main app.
    Just my opinion, though. :)

    Welcome Runner 5.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers. I will only say that C25K program gives you a little bit of insight/background into some of the characters. At least I thought so, but I don’t think you will lose anything if you jump ahead to the main program.

Stay safe out there Runner 5.

    Welcome!

So I didn't start using zombies run until after I ran 2 half marathons (I need the distraction when I run alone, I don't like to get bogged down in my thoughts). So I didn't bother with the 5k app. As far as I konw, I'm not missing anything. And if I am, I don't notice so it doesn't matter.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on the matter. Think I may just skip the remaining missions in the 5k app and jump right into the main program. I'm guessing I'd be able to find the audio for the missions I skip and at least listen to the remainder of the story while I'm sitting at my desk at work.

My wife ordered me a Runner 5 shirt the other day - I've got a good wife!
