Boobs

I really hate my job and decided to come up with an interesting topic on here that I am actually pretty curious about.

I know that bodybuilders ususally get implants as do some fitness models. I'm wondering if anyone in this group has/will eventually get implants...or if that's even part of the aesthetic you're hoping to achieve.

Personally, I'm a 32 B, hoping to go down to a 32 A. I like the way Christmas Abbott's body looks. Musculy and flat-chested LOL!

Don't have 'em (seriously, I'm a 32 A on a good day), never did, don't really want 'em. At this point, it just feels like who I am. Doesn't bother me so I wouldn't ever get implants. And I agree about the muscle-y chest look...I like it.

On the other hand, it has occurred to me that having bigger boobs would probably help me feel more 'balanced'. I always feel like my waist is big, but really it's probably because I don't have much difference between boobs, waist, and hips to make it look smaller, if you know what I mean.

    just my 2 cents...

I think I'm technically a "pear" because of that, but I feel like my shoulders are wide enough to balance out my hips. I wouldn't mind getting bigger shoulders, however

i think those girls get implants because they drop their body fat so low they end up with nothing. Bulk and low body fat dont have to go together. I plan on always have a decent bf% so that i'm not all cut up and flat boobs. I have 36C, i did notice that when i started benching heavy and building my pecs, my boobs have gotten bigger just cause the muscle underneath is pushing them out. I wont ever get implants, i'll just wear a pushup bra if i have to. If i was 20 and gonna be on stage, i might think about it., but not at this stage of the game.

Properly fitted, I am a 30C....but, I've had and nursed 3 kids so, they are pretty flat without a bra on. And a 30C is really the equivalent as a 34A or a 32B...so, they are small.

I personally don't prefer the look of large breasts on a small/lean frame. I know a ton of people in person who have implants and I've yet to see a set that I think look natural/good to me naked.

Plus......for me, I don't find the cost of them added to the fact that it's major surgery with general anesthesia worth it. Added to the fact that they don't last forever. I'm 32...that means, I'd have to have at least 3-4 more surgeries just for "upkeep" purposes. And...I get worried that they'd get in the way. i've never been large chested and when I was at my biggest (while nursing), I found them to be annoying and constantly in the way ;)

I went from a nice 80 C (30 C in US sizing I think) to a rather puny 70 A (28 A). Although I must admit that when wearing a Pushup bra my chest seems in balance with the rest of me. I've decided to rock the fit & flat look

It helps I guess that my hubby is more appreciative of a nice derrière then of a big rack. And that is something I can actually work on

I've been on both sides of this and for me right now, I love my body. My boobs are the first to go when I drop BF and when I go back to a maintainable BF they're the first to come back. I'm between an A and B 32/34 and it's what I've been given. I certainly would not get them for the hell of it, plus I hate surgery and don't want to voluntarily put myself through that. Also I rather go on vacation or have a million other things I rather do with that money. Some girls who compete look good and some are too large and don't look well. We also need to remember that fitness models get them bc it does enhance their career, it's true whether you want to believe it or not. I can't say I would never get them bc if god forbid something happens and I have to have a breast removed etc I would not know how I feel until placed in that situation.

I'll take not having to wear a supportive bra any day! What little I have sits high thanks to bench. That's good enough for me.

Husband is a booty lova as it is. Now, that I've got! THANK YOU ATG SQUATS! :D

I totally agree. If my boobs decide to try to kill me one day and they need to be completely removed, I would seriously consider reconstructive surgery.

Well, I'm the odd one out again :) I love boobs!! I was blessed with a big set (34DD) on a generally slim frame (usually a size 4-6). Since I had my kids though, they've..ahem...lost the wind in their sails. They are very deflated-looking and a bit saggy. Put into a nice supportive bra, they look just fine. Even at this low bodyfat (2 weeks out from a show), I'm still filling a 32C, and stuffing my bikini top I have enough volume left that they look fine. But naked they look sad to me :( I find my breasts to be a big part of my appearance- In my mind, they affect your appearance on many levels: sex appeal, youthfulness, symmetry, proportion. So personally I do think I'll eventually get some implants to restore the volume to mine. It's a very personal decision, I guess, but for me it is desirable.

Just Googled Christmas Abbott. Wow. <looking at own body and questioning all excuses I have ever made>

Nice. Very nice. She's just gorgeous. Jeez.

Oh, wait... boobs.... Yeah, didn't have much to start with. Now that I'm 99/98 pounds they look like marbles in an infant's sock. Not a great look, to be honest. But would I ever buy a pair? Hmmmmm. I actually think I'd rather reduce so they're just, um, higher. I don't care about the volume. It's the sag I take issue with. And I don't have any kids, just bad genes. Of course, my mom was HUGE. Go figure. Oh, well. Guess I'm not making the VS catalog cover until next year.

I have enhanced breasts. I've had them a long time. I was never busty, but after breastfeeding I was left was deflated A cups. It was one thing to have small boobs, it was another to have small, sad, flat, deflated boobs.

I have mixed feelings about them. I'm very proportionate now. My bust measurement tends to match my hips. But knowing they'll probably need to be redone at some point fills me with a lot of anxiety. And I'm getting to the age where I'll need mammograms and that fills me with anxiety. And now that I'm around aerialist who tend to not have boobs, they just look too big to me.

So on one hand, the helped me so much with body confidence, but on the other, I'm worried about problems in the future. Not that I've ever had any and I've had the implants almost 10 years now.

I seriously consider getting them done at some point. I used to be a UK G cup then I lost 30 pounds now I'm a B cup.... So the girls don't look that nice at all anymore, going without a bra is not possible but then again I couldn't do that with a G either.

So if the bulk doesn't make me put on all the fat in the girls, and I seriously doubt this, I might have to start saving...

Wow, I didn't realize this was a (primarily) flat-chested bunch of broads! I've actually noticed similar measurements for a lot of us in our journals and am wondering if our similar body types is one of the reasons we're all here bulking in the first place!

I just started reading this thread...My girls have been an issue for me for years. I went so far as to try and get reduction surgery a couple years ago, because even at my highest weight, 44DDD was just too much, but the insurance company wouldn't approve it. Fortunately, I'm down to a 38D now, and still feel disproportionately large, and would love to lose some more body fat and see where they go (probably further south, with my luck), so I would absolutely consider lift surgery if it comes to the point where I feel the same as I do now about them. Personally? I could totally live without them and if I could pull an Angelina Jolie? I'd do it in a heartbeat (as I have history of breast cancer on both sides of my family - and my mom's a two time survivor).

I nursed all three boys, and used 'em for what I got 'em for, but honestly have no use for them, and the fact that they DO make it difficult for one piece dressing, yeah...absolutely would love to be done with them, LOL...

And don't even get me started about bikini season. Shopping for those is hell.

My husband tells me mine look like fried eggs. Unless surgery is medically necessary,I wouldn't change them. They're here to lay...I mean stay.

I come from a long line of booby women. I've had biggish boobs off and on and have always been glad to see them go down when I've lost weight. Mine are better acquainted with my navel since I stupidly went braless through most of my pregnancy. Would love it if I manage to raise them up a bit through continued lifting -- so I work hard on my bench and overhead press, and add in flies when I have the time.

Not sure where I'd stand on reconstruction if it came to that, but definitely will not seek enhancements. Boobs are pretty and fun, but they're also kind of a pain in the *kitten*. They bounce around during running and get in the way during everyday stuff. Not to mention they impede eye contact in many conversations. Make them bigger? Uh, no thanks.
