Did anyone else run the Chicago Marathon on Sunday?

It wasn't a PR for me, but it was the best I've ever felt during a marathon.

    Congratulations !
I did not run. But my wife did. (I hustled down the El train lines to different spots along the course to give encouragement.)
She did well. I think it was a combination of a perfect day weather-wise and a race that was really expertly managed considering the size (42,000 racers).
I do not know how the city of Chicago pulled off a race that big that well. But they did.

I didn't run. But I was affected by the traffic problems. Does that count? LOL

I did!!! It was my first. 5:14 which considering my first 1/2 last sept was 3:08 i consider it pretty darn good!! The best part, I felt amazing. Never hit a wall, slowed down between 22-25(actually was pacing with 4:50 up until that point) but never felt miserable or anything. I was sore for two days afterward and i've been fine since, which is pretty spectacular as i tend to fight chronic back pain

I did too, also my first. I finished 5:16, missed my goal but it was an amazing day!
