Morning Gal *or* Night Owl?

Total & complete NIGHT OWL here!!

It seems as though late evening, when I finally get a bit of peace & solitude, is when I recharge. Yet my evening/night eating has been killing any efforts I make towards weight loss.....until now. MFP has been *amazing* in helping me get a grasp on what I am eating and how much I am eating. I save a snack of plain yogurt mixed with fruit & a packet of stevia - frozen for a few hours first - as my evening indulgence. Even my nursing baby is happy ;)

So how about you? Morning gal or night owl ~ and how does that affect your goals towards better health??

  • Night Owl all the way. I come from a long line of night owls & have baby night owls too. My husband calls us nightwalkers & says we arent normal. I say normal is over rated.

It wasnt working too well for my weight loss & tracking efforts till I changed my tracker to 12AM-12PM, 12PM-12AM. Now things are going much better.

Night owl which is made even worse when my husand is working his midnight turn. When he works days or 3 to 11s I go to bed a little earlier but I can stay up all night. I force myself to go to bed though because it is hard to school my girls if I've been up all night. Even if I go to bed late I have to get up at a decent time because our lives are so busy in the afternoon that morning is the time we have for sit-down schoolwork.

I am an early bird. I tend to fall a sleep while getting the kids to bed. If only I would go workout instead in waiting.
