Anyone else having a hard time staying asleep, sleeping through the night, or getting to sleep in the first place? I ink it's because I'm very slightly nauseous pretty much all the time, but I can't seem to sleep more than 4-5 hours at a stretch. And I'm so tired!

  • My sleep has been pretty good for the most part. I got a UTI the other day though so once I woke up two hours earlier than usual I wasn't able to go back to sleep. It was too uncomfortable.

Apparently UTIs are more common when preggo. :(

I have been waking up every few hours to pee! Two weeks ago was really bad, I would wake up at 3am and be wide awake (but still so tired) for about 2 hours, but then having to get up at 6:30 to get ready for work.

I find if I don't turn on the bathroom light, and I get up, pee and crawl right back into bed, I seem to be able to fall asleep again ...

I keep a package of saltine crackers by my bed, on the nights I wake up nauseous, I have a few crackers before crawling back to bed and that seems to help as well.
  • Sleep, or the lack there of, has been a pain.

I seem to want to sleep when it's not possible, like at 2pm and always wake up when I should be sleeping at night.

I also find I'm ready to shut down at about 7pm, but can't because of my 5 year and once I'm finally ready to call it at around 10, I can't seem to fall asleep.

Sleep like the dead one night, serious insomnia the next, sleep good 3 hrs the next and spend the rest of the night tossing and turning, sleep like the dead again, spend the whole night staring at the ceiling ...
    Its pretty messed up.

All I do is sleep! I have been going to bed at like 7:30pm. I wake up to go to the bathroom a few times a night, but I fall right back to sleep. I'm exhausted!

I've been sleeping a lot more than usual, so no problem with that. I have started having crazy dreams already!

I don't have any nausea but it's been hard for me to stay asleep all night since I learned i'm pregnant. I was the opposite during my first pregnancy, i had hard time to stay awake. I'm tired

i've been sleeping quite well actually. The other night I went to bed at 9:30 and didn't get up until 8am. It was lovely.
  • Falling sleep has become easier, staying asleep is the tricky part now. Some nights I sleep right through, but most I'm up a couple of times.
  • Well... if I wasn't having a sleep problem before, I sure am now.

It's 4 AM and I can't get back to sleep. :ohwell:
