To fully benefit from this workout, its important to take stock of where we are now physically. So, please use Thursday October 31,2013 to take the following measurements and then post. Lets keep track of each other!

    So glad to have found this group because I just had a baby and just had my post partem check up with everything being ok so I can start exercising. I decided to start with the 30 day shred among all the other exercise videos that I have collected throughout the years.

    Hey! Just wondering, is it okay if I join in, even though I am almost through Level 1 of the Shred? You could think of me as your "scout" who has gone out ahead of you to spy out the territory! :happy: I started it on Monday, October 21, but I took the weekend as "recovery days" so I am only on Day 9 today.

    Here are my measurements when I started:

    Weight: 138
    Bust: 35.5
    Waist (narrowest point just above belly button): 27.5
    Abdomen (2 inches below belly button - the "pooch"): 35
    Hips (widest point): 40
    Thigh (widest point): 23
    Calf (widest point): 14.5
    Upper arm (widest point): 11.5

    I'm in! Technically it's only just over an hour till 1/11 and I'm off to bed.

    Hey, were you able to follow up on the videos from day 1? Since you have tried it earlier you can help me overcome my fear. I feel i cannot keep up continuously for 25 mins. I actually gave it a try today. Will start day one tomorrow.

    As long as you are giving it all you got everyday, you shouldn't fear not being able to it all. The first few times through I couldn't finish or I had to stop and catch my breath for a few seconds. After about a week, I could make it all the way through without stopping. I have done it twice before for 30 days and still couldn't get out of level 1. I still managed to firm up and lose inches. So don't be afraid and give it all you got!

    The first day ever doing the shred was awful! But, that was due to the fact that I was so out of shape and couldn't handle it. I did as much as I could and took a few breaks when I felt like I was going to pass out.

    Please continue this challenge with us! Don't be afraid! It sucks the first few days but if you're really trying, by day four you will feel awesome! It's all about building your endurance. You WILL be sore after day one. Just continue with the workouts, drink lots of water and PUSH THROUGH. I promise you can make it! :)

    I'm here if you have anymore questions or need some support. I think it's going to be a great month!

    OK, to be honest.... I have never taken my measurements before.... this is a little odd for me. I never wanted to know actual numbers, I always went by my clothes and a scale. YIKES!!! This just took my motivation to a whole new level.... I think. Here it goes.....

    Hi everyone - I'm joining the group a little late but will start tomorrow. I did the Shred in September and lost 4 inches from my waist, I haven't done any exercise since then and I don't have much muscle tone, so am eager to give it another shot!

    Hello all,
    I am responding quite late... I started the 30 day shred last week, but I do also the C25K. I try to do 1 day the C25K and the next day 30 day shred. Up until now that was no problem. Last sunday I went for a 30 min run and then did the 30 day shred. But that was a bit too much.

    I took my measurments... But the paper is at home and I am away for a week. As soon as I am home I will post my measurments.
