Hi, this is my second time of doing shred as I loved it first time around and found it very effective for me but have had a pretty unhealthy 6 weeks so wanted to get back on it! Anyone else up for the challenge?

I had a really busy day and had to force myself into trainers after the kids went to bed but I can now say 'Day 1 DONE'!

    Hiya
I'm in the same position except I didn't get to level 3 before motivation left and laziness crept in.

I found another MFP group which started on the 1st November with plenty of support and posts. Just search for 30 day shred! November 2013. Hope to see you there!

Last time I tried Shed I had to stop after a week coz I really hurt my knee.... it wasn't right for a long time after...

I am wondering about trying again but without the cardio, would that be odd....?

Guys, when you speak about shredding, what exactly do you have in minds? It's it an exercise program or something? Because in my head shredding is really balanced diet with proper exercise to get to very low body fat (4-5%).

30 day shred is just an exercise DVD. It suits some people as is only a half hour a day and as a mum who can't get out running without the kids, it is ideal. With a balanced diet, it works well. The bFP's you mention are completely unrealistic for most women and this certainly won't pretend to achieve that.

All right, I see now :) And totally agree, 4-5% body fat for women would be definitely dangerous, I was speaking about men. :) But good luck on your shredding!
