Frivolous question really, but .....what do you do with your medal collection?
Mine tend to end up in a drawer or on a hanger in my closet but there are a few of them that represent milestones in my quest for improved fitness..........

I have 2 cork boards in my office that I hang them on, one for me and one for my husband.0

They are hanging on my home office wall (on key racks).
But I don't have many yet. I guess that someday I'll have to only hangs the ones with a special meaning0 -
You should invest in one of these;

My finisher medals are hanging on the door knobs for my bedroom closet. The awards I earned are on my desk.0

Mine hang in my bathroom, supposed to remind me to get changed and go run!
The husbands-who knows? Except the one we just got last weekend is a bottle opener so it has a place of honor in the kitchen (with the ribbon cut off)0 -

You could bring a smile and maybe some hope to someone through this organization: http://www.medals4mettle.org/0

The age group winners at the Humboldt marathon also got bottle opener medals - I thought it was a great idea!
As for mine, they're draped over the top of this stand up mirror I have in my bedroom.0 -

My half marathon and 10 mile medals are hanging around the neck of my skeleton in my bio classroom. I also post my training plans crossing off the days as I complete them. My hopes are that I might motivate a student to start to run or be more active. I tell them I didn't start until 4 years ago.
I have my 5K and 10K medals in a box. Thanks for the link to send them off.0 -

I bought hangers from Gone for a Run. Mine are all way too precious & important to me at this point.0

Mine are in the kids dress-up box, but now I think I'll dig out the marathon and half marathon ones and send them to Medals4Mettle.0

I'm still in the stage of keeping and displaying them:) I was hanging them on a light fixture over my mirror in the bathroom but it was getting too heavy. Now, they are hanging on a wall in my bedroom. I'm not super fast by any means, just one of the faster runners in my age group which sometimes results in an award.0

Mine are all in a box, but this year I intend to make Christmas tree ornaments out of them and decorate a small tree entirely with medals. I think it will be fun to take them out of the box every year and remember each race.0
