Everyone knows Pandora, but for the more obscure folk and viking bands I found better stuff on LastFM. I also like Grooveshark a lot because you can make playlists.

Spotify!! I love it (I don't listen to much metal these days but they have more obscure stuff in other genres so I assume it would be the same for metal)0

I like Grooveshark. Other than the search being a bit cumbersome at times, I can usually find what I'm looking for0

Well...I have to say if I need the fix I go to KNAC dot com.....it's the station I listened to (105.5 FM) back in the day and when they were bought out they eventually went online.0

Spotify is pretty sweet! You can find a lot of different metal on there, although they usually don't have the whole discography of lesser known bands0
