This challenge ends Wednesday November 28th (the week before American Thanksgiving...that's an accident) but YOU CAN JOIN AT ANY TIME! (Act now, but this offer WILL last, and thanks to MFP, it is only 10 easy payments of FREE!).

This challenge is fantastic, mainly because of the people who participate (we are a supportive bunch), but also it keeps getting tweaked by participants' suggestions to make it better.

    7. was glad that I have kept up with my challengers choice from early in this challenge. That was to not leave school until I was ready for the next morning. That really helped when Dad passed away!

    Well, what an eventful week I've had...a colonoscopy, my 2 teenage children finally coming to the point where they realize they are better off with us full-time rather than bouncing back and forth between 2 houses every week, hubby headed back to Alberta for work after working from home for 3 weeks. Somehow, all of that has translated to me finally getting a handle on my eating the last few days and seeing the scale dive after weeks of playing hide-and-seek with the same 2-3 lbs. 4 more lbs off and I will weigh what I did on my wedding day October 17, 2009. (mind you, this is the SECOND time I've gained and lost 40lbs during that time - just to be clear, this is the LAST time!)

    Sorry to turn this into some sort of personal journal...lol All of this is to say that I'm very thankful for this challenge, because although I'm not doing very well accumulating points, it's keeping me accountable and mindful, and I'm more determined than ever to reach my goal weight and be healthy, regardless of how long it takes. I think this is the first time I can honestly say that I'm in it for the long haul...it's not about big numbers on the scale and being perfect with my food choices - it's about developing a healthy lifestyle...slowly and surely, once and for all...thanks Elizabeth...:o)
