Hey there fitness friends, it's time for a week long challenge! One of the toughest challenges for me personally is eating dinner early enough to properly digest it before going to bed. So this weeks challenge is " Eating dinner at least 2-3 hours before going to sleep" when you give your body proper time to digest food before going to sleep you lose weight quicker! Everyone loves that! Right? So do your self a favor this week and give it a try, you might find that this works for you too! Some of you probably don't have a problem with this... If so, share with the group what works for you :drinker: and for everyone else share your success stories and challenges with this week...Go team!

I'll try for this one. But it's hard for me. I eat after work and right now I'm on night shifts till 10-12 at night. Still it would be better if I can manage it! :D

Can those working ladies bring something to work and then just have a light snack at home? I work till 8 tonight but I will have dinner at my desk at my usual time 5-530. We always eat dinner early start at 5-530 and then only a light snack in the evening... Except till recently it has not been a light snack for me, but it is now.

I got into the habit of eating dinner so early because of the kids, when they get home from school they are hungry afterwards.

I am however going to be working on dinner this week.. In cutting carbs from our dinner we have far to much pasta and rice and not enough veggies. So I will be thinking about my dinner too :)

Part of my problem is I work at a restaurant. Everything there is so high in calories and I don't want to get into a habit of it. (not crazy about salad) I have a bowl of soup at work for a snack and my husband leaves me a plate of dinner in the fridge. I'll probably just work at an hour before bed.

Yesterday I nailed my carb reduced dinner making a veggie and ham stirfry... It was yummy... But I was cooking for myself only today I need to cook for my whole family and they demand their carbs so I took out extra chicken so I can just double my chicken and veggies and have one serving of carb a real serving too!!! I hope everyone who is taking a stab at earlier dinners did well :)

Great idea Holly! It is important to cut your carbs at dinner time, that way your carbs are not sticking to your waistline... It is much better to eat your carbs earlier in the day so you have time to burn them off :) The last couple of days I have been eating left overs for dinner after the gym, so I have proper time to digest before bed. Hoping for a great week! Great effort everyone, do what you can :drinker:

I don't know if this is okay... I have a graham cracker at 8PM with the meds that I take. Then I drink some Crystal Light... Is that bad? I am not a big night eater, not since I got rid of all my food stashes in my room... That was hard but a very good decision. I eat supper at 5PM every night and don't go to bed until 9 or 10 so I don't worry about that. I guess compared to that my graham cracker isn't a big deal.. I answered my own question!

You are totally fine having a graham cracker with your meds :) That's fantastic that you eat dinner early everyday! I am still working towards it, lol!

Oh those first few days without the heavy carbs at night is harsh... Last night I had 1/2 cup of rice for dinner as my carb. I am choosing my carbs in the morning like cream of wheat or crackers with my soup and I notice a big difference! I hope to carry this trend forward as I prepare to go on a 3 day trip with a few friends and have some serious plans with American restaurants we don't have here!!! I am hoping to find some serious strength
