Earn Your Thanksgiving Dinner

This Thanksgiving, before you sit down to enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner, sneak in your workout just a little beforehand. Before dinner, organize a hike or a game of football, basketball, soccer, or another physical activity with your family. If they're not interested, don't let it stop your efforts to be healthy. You can do some yoga, or go on a run or bike ride.

If you time it right and finish about a half hour to an hour before dinner, you'll get an added benefit. You won't be as hungry as you usually would be at Thanksgiving, and your body will be craving healthy nutrients like lean cuts of turkey, so you'll be more likely to reach for the good stuff.
