Hello Runners,
I was wondering do any of you take any supplements while running or training? Other than vitamins is there something else you take?

Sugar free Rockstar. I swear by it!0

I'll use a scoop of protein powder a couple of times a week after hitting the weights but that's about it.
I did do the beet juice thing before my last duathlon (500ml of beet juice daily for 4 days) tasted like crap and I'm not convinced it made any real difference.0 -
After really long or intense efforts I'll use Endurox or Ultragen. On long runs I'll take a fuel belt with Skratch and/or gels with me.0

Coffee I can do, Endurox not sure what that is but will check it out. Chocolate milk does not work for me I am lactose intolerant0 -

Will have to give that a try. Do you drink that before or after a run?0 -

Try almond milk if you haven't already! I like the vanilla flavour (I get Silk unsweetened, but they have a sweetened variety too which may be good for post-run). And this time of year they have an "egg nog" flavour too!
I've also tried making smoothies for post-run with the almond milk...but it all separates and it's terrible. But just as a drink it's good.0 -
