So 2 years ago I bought a $450 Asian market Abu Garcia fishing reel. The reel is awesome but the downside is that there is little hope of servicing such a reel. About a year ago I dropped it and put some wear on the pinion gear of the reel (so basically it needs a new gearset to feel as smooth as it should).

This year they released a reel in America that uses the same internal parts.

I FINALLY GET THE PARTS TO SERVICE MY KICK *kitten* REEL!!!!! just ordered them from Abu today...basically $36 to make the reel new again.

you know you can go to the grocery store and buy fish already caught and skinned and ready for cooking, right?

But where is the thrill in going to the store to buy fish?

I prefer catching mine, but I just haven't had the time in the last few years. :(
