Week 1 day 6-WASH THAT HAIR!

Did you know that sweat acts just like ocean water to your hair when you work out?! That's right-the salt from your sweat will dry your hair out. After first beginning to work out years ago I couldn't figure out why my hair was so dry, brittle, damaged and breaking. It's the sweat! If you don't have time to go through your full hair wash routine at least rinse it and moisturize as usual-I recommend at least using conditioner. Don't let a little extra hair care maintenance take away from your goal! Happy Saturday!

I limit my workout because the daily washing drys it out
  • Rita-
That's exactly why I posted that tip! I know A LOT of women who don't exercise to their full potential or limit their exercises because the extra work to limit hair care. Don't let that keep you from your goal! Being that we have different hair types, I would still recommend the info that I gave but I would also say that maybe you can find a great leave in conditioner to apply before you work out if you have the time to do it!

  • Sorry for the late reply! No I haven't tried it. Let us know if you do.

Is it available in stores or only online?
  • Claudi-I am unsure but I am sure you can find similar products in a store.
